Transform Your Conservatory Into a Usable Year-Round Living Space
The roof system is designed to replace the existing glass or Polycarbonate roof of a conservatory while retaining the original windows, doors, frames and walls. At the same time providing substantial energy cost savings.
Fully tested and approved to all thermal and Structural standards, the Warmer Tiled roof is a high performance insulated roof system comprising of a pre-engineered lightweight frame, two layers of rigid insulation board, internal insulated plasterboard, exterior grade plywood, vapour membrane and a choice of external tile finishes.

The Warmer Roof is made up from a timber framework section, either shaped or rectangular, which forms a structural link between both the eaves and ridge. The timber framework is supported by a specially produced and engineered Glulam eaves beam which provides incredible structural strength, long term durability and performance. This is attached to the head of the window frames and finished off externally with fascia board and an ‘Ogee’ decorative gutter system. All roof pods are factory pre-assembled using C24 roof grade timbers and have been structurally designed by our specialist engineers. All pods are covered externally with a plywood / OSB outer skin for extra rigidity and strength.

Homeowners are looking for a cost effective way of retaining existing floor space whilst improving the energy efficiency of the structure. To meet this need homeowners are choosing to replace obsolete translucent roofs with solid ones.
This guidance has been produced to advise and inform suppliers, builders, architects and design consultants on the Building Regulations that will apply to the replacement of a translucent roof to a conservatory or porch with a solid roof.
The preferred option for many homeowners is a lightweight composite solid roof. Some roofs have a LABC Registered Detail that provides an approved design, quality control and accredited installation. Other options may simply under-draw or over-clad existing poly-carbonate roofs. Or replace the existing roof with a traditional tiled roof that may not have taken into account the adequacy of the existing structure to carry increased loading.
We offer a 10 year insurance backed guarantee on installations so you can be confident that in the unlikely event of something going wrong with your windows, doors or conservatory you'll be fully covered.
Rydale Windows can assist with repairs and maintenance problems with your windows, doors and conservatories.
Creation offers you the ideal way to fund your home improvement project.

In most cases, planning permission is not required—especially if you’re replacing an existing roof with a like-for-like solid alternative. However, we provide full guidance and handle compliance with Building Regulations for peace of mind.
Our comprehensive installation includes removal of the old roof, fitting a lightweight insulated timber frame, adding roof tiles, insulation layers, plastering, optional electrics, and final certification—all project-managed by our expert team.
